I'm sad to report that my grandpa died on Friday. I'll be in Amarillo for the next few days. Click here to read his obituary. Very cool history. Oh, and enjoy the hilarious picture of him at my college graduation!

What an awesome funeral...great to see that a family from near and far came to celebrate a life - a life I was told that was lived hard, fast, cool and smooth. Ever seen the film 'cool hand luke' - you may want to check it out one day...it reminds me of BobC - a man who I feel had an inability to conform on certain things until the ends came near and a man who had people from all walks of life who idolized him and idealized him. The truth of the matter is - Paul Newman won the best actor for his role in the movie - well, BobC wasn't an actor - he lived the life and loved to live. Goodbye "Pop"! - I'm gonna truly miss you!

I send my deepest sympathy to you and the family for the loss of your grandpa. I apologize for my delay, but I am still trying to figure out this "blog" thing.
It is always very hard to loose a loved one (even if the life was just created or a life long lived). I pray that God will be your comfort in all things.
