Spicy Soda

We made it home after our lovely baby shower in Amarillo.....it was such a good time and everything was marvelous. The family photographer, Marc, will have the pictures to me this weekend, so stay tuned for an "all things shower" recap.

Our journey to A-town began with a stop in Decatur at the local Pizza Hut. I was already sick of the car and hungry. After our drinks arrived, I was in awe of Barry's Pepsi. Never before have I seen or tasted such a perfect "spicy" soda. For those of you who don't know, a spicy soda has just the right amount of syrup and carbonation.......it burns on it's descent into your stomach. McDonald's, Whataburger and Chick-fil-A get high marks, but nothing like this Pizza Hut in the dreadfully small town of Decatur, Texas. Here's a picture so that you too can spot a spicy soda.

Barry had a wonderful time 2 weekends ago at his best friend Ty's bachelor weekend. They spent the weekend at a ranch......thank you Mike and Jules. They shot things, fished and pretty much acted like boys. I'm so glad Barry got some time away.
