Special Adventure #2 & House Renovations!

Our special adventures before Boy Beebs arrives should include Mama, but I really needed to clean the house after all the work we did last weekend. So, Mom, Marc & Sam visited and the men took the kids on Special Adventure #2 while the ladies cleaned. (My floors are shiny and my bathroom has never been so clean thanks to Robb.) They had a lovely time at their first splash park visit.

We did some major work on the house last weekend and it looks fabulous. Well, Barry, his dad and his brother did major work on the house. I chased Avery and tried to keep her out of the way. We textured walls, hung crown moulding and baseboards, and painted the entire house. I used one color for the living, dining, kitchen and halls and then another color for the bedrooms (except for Avery's lime green). Thanks to the men for spending a long weekend doing work!

This is the most fabulous gray paint color ever.
Perfect for the bedrooms.

*P.S. - We used Benjamin Moore's Natura No-VOC paint and I was so very impressed I could hardly stand it. Avery and I sat on the couch while they painted all around us without worry of brain cells being fried. It is so worth the extra money.
