Most people I know who blog write to keep their families updated about the kids. Well, I refuse to be left out of this ridiculous waste of time! I will embellish if needed to keep you amused with our boring life. So, I will write about us and other random things I get excited about. I have informed Dickie that he will be a guest blogger on occasion........he's not pleased.
Some of you may be wondering what's up with Dickie, Marge & Ripley. In an effort to avoid confusion, I thought I should explain our nicknames. Have you ever seen the movie "The Talented Mr. Ripley?" You should. Very dark humor in my opinion. From the beginning of our relationship, we recited lines from this movie to amuse ourselves. Dickie & Marge are characters in the movie. That's what we call each other....always. Whittney = Marge & Barry = Dickie.
So, who's Ripley?
Ripley = a future nickname
For whom you ask?
We haven't decided yet. But they will probably be really important.

nick names are great - every nickname usually means someting special to someone - nicknames can take you back to a special place or wonderful thought or a time well spent...they can also take you to where you need to be - for instance...how many times has an argument ended with the an expression in the resolution that contained the nickname- you see...it takes you back to love and back to a good place. some say it's sappy but lovers call themselves by nicknames all the time.
