We loaded up the kids and went to Oklahoma City this weekend to watch Jake wrestle. He didn’t do as well as he wanted, but there’s more to life than winning, right? We had a good time and I was happy to finally see him wrestle at the college level.
Sweet Henry Boy had a blowout while we were at the AQHA World Show Trade Show and of course I didn’t have a change of clothes. All 500 onesies were at the hotel. He had to wear his sister’s hoodie, a diaper and some leggings because that’s all I could find in the car. He didn’t mind. Uncle Nick was a fabulous stroller pusher.
Swimming at the indoor pool.
Daddy managed to get him to sleep at Cheesecake Factory and drink his frosty beverage.
I undressed him and turned around to grab PJ’s and he put himself to sleep during his first hotel stay!
I made Avery a button that said “Go Uncle Jake!” Here she is telling me about it.
Mom said “I want a picture of the kids,” so I gathered up Avery, Henry & Samuel.
“The kids” meant HER kids!
Four generations of girls.
While I sat in the car nursing Henry at The Original Fried Pie Shop in Davis, Oklahoma, Barry and Avery had a heart-to-heart about “screaming fits.” She had been having one of these “screaming fits” for 30 long minutes prior to our stop. He loves his girl. (P.S. The pies were lame. Don’t stop.)
